Eat-Write-Travel is excited to announce a NEW way for us to gather as writers...The Writing House!

Join us at the historic Mabel Dodge Luhan House in the magical town of Taos, New Mexico for a Life-Changing week of deep inspiration and profound time for your writing!

Mabel Dodge was a prominent figure in the arts and society of New York City and Europe. When Mabel left New York to settle in Taos, marrying a full-blooded Taos Pueblo man by the name of Tony Luhan, the 1930s New Yorker Magazine cartoons quipped about Mabel in Taos!

D. H. Lawrence, Georgia O’Keeffe, Willa Cather, Ansel Adams and others found inspiration that would shape their lives’ work while visiting Tony and Mabel’s home. And you will too!

Plan, start, work on, or finish your manuscript of poems!  Your novel! Your Memoir! Commit to YOUR Writing ! Luxuriate in long stretches of luscious time!

Our Taos writing retreat is designed for writers who are currently working on a literary project. Limited to 12 participants, the retreat offers individual attention and support, as well as a stimulating, insightful environment.

Accommodations

The group will be staying in the Juniper House at Mabel's. Rooms are assigned on a first-to-register basis. Since it is a retreat center, internet is only available in the common areas.

Mabel's is a lovely property seeped in history, however due to the cobbled pathways and uneven terrain, it is not a good fit for anyone with mobility issues. There are steps required to get to all the rooms.
